SANTA CRUZ GARTER

SANTA CRUZ GARTER, is a subspecies of the atratus complex. They are a black colored garter snake with a boldly defined yellow or orange dorsal stripe.They have miniscule white fleckings throughout their body and generally the throat is a lemon yellow color. Adults are small by thamnophis standards, females average 18" and males 12" in length. Our adults feed aggressively on mice as well. Due to California laws, no sales to California residents.
